I found The Shoebox Project for Women on social media when I was searching for a way to give more to the community.  When I saw St. Louis needed a chapter I thought this was a special and unique way to help our wonderful community.  St. Louis has many women impacted by homelessness and the thought of providing these women a gift-filled box of needed and wanted items warms my heart.  The thought of women reading messages of love, support and hope is why I am thrilled to help St. Louis embrace The Shoebox Project!

When I read about the mission of the Shoebox Project I was drawn to volunteer. In St. Louis we are helping women impacted by homelessness as well as women escaping abuse. We hope these gift-filled and decorated shoeboxes bring some amount of joy and encouragement to the women who open them. It is such a fun and unique way to help empower women in St. Louis and I am so happy to be involved!

Our Shoeboxes go to Women Accessing the Following Agencies:

 Room At The Inn
Almost Home
Covenant House Missouri
Gateway 180 Homeless Service
Loaves & Fishes For St. Louis Inc.
Our Lady's Inn
